Android 6.0 (API 23) and above.

Why are there two Castro applications?

There are two versions of Castro - “Basic” and “Premium”. “Premium” version has extra features, that aren’t available in the basic version. The “Premium” version of Castro is a standalone application.

What is the difference between Basic and Premium version?

Castro Premium is one-time purchase, which enables such features:

Deep Interface Customization

Users can personalize the application’s interface extensively with a variety of colors and themes. This allows for a more individualized user experience.

Configurable Home-Screen Widget

The Premium version provides a widget that can be placed on the home screen for quick and convenient access to the main infomration about your device.

Network Traffic Speed Monitor

This feature enables users to monitor their network connection speed. It’s particularly useful for keeping track of internet performance and ensuring stable connectivity.

CPU Usage Monitor

The application includes a tool to monitor CPU usage, allowing users to stay informed about the frequency usage of their device’s processor. This can be important for managing device performance and identifying potential issues.

PDF Format for Information Exporting

Users can export information in PDF format, providing a convenient way to share or save data in a widely accessible and professional format.

I didn’t like the app, what should I do?

If less than a week has passed after the purchase, then contact Google Play for help and they will automatically refund your money. If it’s more than that, email me at pavlo.rekun.development@gmail.com and send me your purchase ID that starts with GPA and I’ll try to help you.

What will happen if I will change my device?

When you purchase “Castro Premium”, in Google Play, it will be assigned to your Google account. If you use the same Google account on a new or factory reset device, you will have access to all previous purchases.

Not correct information

Screen density

Screen density calculation can be wrong. Android can not define your real DPI, because it scales it to the nearest constant (120, 240, 360, 480, or 640).

Battery capacity

Battery capacity can only be reported for factory default batteries. If the battery was replaced with an extended capacity battery, neither Android or Castro will be able to detect the new capacity.

Battery minimum and maximum voltage

Minimal and maximal voltage can be reported for Snapdragon devices only for now. We will add support for other devices in the future.

Camera parameters

Camera capabilities may show incorrect information if the manufacturer encoded the wrong values into the Android profile of the device.
