Skit
The first big update for Skit, numbered 2.2, is here and the main change is the new “Apps usage” tool. I think some of you sometimes wondered how much time you spend in this or that application, how much Internet it consumes, and so on. This is where the new tool will help you.
In addition, several interface improvements were made, namely: a new design of the “Themes” window and the “Jungle” theme was replaced with “Retro”.
Most important bugs that you reported to me were also fixed and performance improved:
- Fixed: White navigation bar with white icons on Android 8 and older.
- Fixed: Crashes, due to too big app’s data size.
- Fixed: Crashes, when Skit can’t properly parse the app’s signature certificate.
Other apps
All my other apps, namely Castro, Graphie and Rekado, also received their small updates, which included all the design changes from Skit, as well as bug fixes.
Castro
- Added: New devices in the DB: Samsung (Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy A12), Nokia 5.4, Xiaomi Mi 11, and Realme X3 (fixed).
- Updated: Dialogs in the “Screen tester”, “Traffic monitor” and “Check for updates” updated with more understandable language.
- Updated: “Connected devices” replaced with “Paired devices” to properly reflect its meaning.
- Fixed: “Refresh rate” selection in the “Traffic monitor” screen.
- Fixed: “Telegram” and “Twitter” icons are not properly tinted in the “About” screen.
Graphie
- Added: Ability to open app dialogs by click on legend entry in the “Statistics” screen.
- Added: “Are you sure?” dialog, before clearing tags for the image.
- Fixed: User not able to send feedback using the in-app form on Android 11.
- Fixed: White navigation bar with white icons on Android 8 and older.
- Fixed: Missing animations, when navigating to some screens.
